HEALTH CENTER ZAGREB — CENTAR, CROATIA

Dom zdravlja Zagreb – Centar (DZZC) is the largest provider of primary health care services in the Republic of Croatia. DZZC is a publicly funded institution that provides accessible, complete and integrated health care to the population of Zagreb. In DZZC 104 GP and 66 specialist teams provide healthcare services to 380.000 citizens. DZZC also provides radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, field nursing, palliative care and dental care services, as well as nutrition and pharmacotherapy counselling. City of Zagreb is founder and owner of DZZC.

DZZC works with regional universities and institutes in education, research and development, and improvement of health services, including eHealth and mHealth. DZZC is the leading partner in the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Health Ageing (EIP on AHA) City of Zagreb Reference Site. DZZC is part of the EU mHealth Hub consortium, a Horizon 2020 funded initiative initiated by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
